Alex Caton & Pete Winne play music that feels as much at home in a modern big-city venue as it would have at the Grand Ole Opry in the 40's. Their self-titled debut (2011) features a characteristic mix of fiddle tunes, gospel, country, and folk songs. The two began playing together in fall of 2009 in central Virginia. Winne has since moved to New York, but the duo still performs occasionally.
